How your information is handled.
Eve Interiors is a small studio run by Natasha Coopey in Cheshire. This page explains what personal information is collected through this website, why it is collected, how it is stored and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your information
Eve Interiors is the data controller for any personal information you share through this website. You can contact me at any time at contact@eveinteriors.co.uk.
What the enquiry form collects
When you complete the Start Your Project enquiry form, you choose what to share. The form asks for your name, email address, your location, the service you are interested in, details about your project, how you would like the space to feel, your budget range and your preferred timing.
Please only include information you are comfortable sharing. There is no need to send sensitive personal details in an enquiry.
How the form works and where the information goes
The enquiry form does not save your answers to a website database. When you submit it, your answers are placed into an email message addressed to Eve Interiors, sent from your own email account or email app. That means your enquiry travels through your email provider and is received in the Eve Interiors email inbox.
Why your information is used
Your information is used only to reply to your enquiry, to discuss the right service for your project, to prepare quotes and proposals, and, if you go ahead, to deliver the design work and keep in touch about your project.
The lawful basis for this is legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and, once you book, the performance of our contract. You will not be added to a marketing list without asking for it, and no information is ever sold.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Where a project goes ahead, project and correspondence records are kept for up to six years to meet accounting and legal obligations.
Who else can see it
Your information is not shared with third parties for marketing. It may be handled by the service providers used to run the studio, the email provider used for correspondence, the website host, and an accountant for invoicing records. Each processes information on instruction and under their own security obligations. Occasionally, with your agreement, details may be shared with a supplier or tradesperson working on your project.
How it is kept secure
Correspondence is stored in password-protected, access-controlled accounts on reputable providers, accessible only by Natasha. Website traffic is encrypted over HTTPS.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The hosting platform may record basic technical information, such as page requests, for security and performance purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how it is used, or ask for its use to be restricted. Email contact@eveinteriors.co.uk and your request will be answered within one month.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here with a new date at the top.
